It took 5 tries and me asking 3 co-workers for help but I finally have made it this far.

At my GT update the presenter used Skype to talk to educators in FL and in St. Louis. I can use this so my students can see, meet,talk to I other students in other parts of the city, state, etc. I did not download nor join anything because I'm in overlaod! I know when I get with my team and we start planning, then I can unload! Thanks TEAM!

Reflections

My unexpected outcome was I had no idea I was so "unhip" in technology because it took me SOOOO long to complete a Tool. I still didn't know if I was doing it right or not. I was here alone doing my best. I even went to the Tool Help sessions. When I thought about getting with teammates, we were scattered here and there. My thinking really has been transformed in that I see what I have to do to be "hip" in technology and I know that I will get there through trial and error. And I am ready! My favorite tool was book making which I couldn't save. When time premits, I can go make and play with the Tools.

Right now I just don't know where I would start with teaching digit safety or how. I do know that I would have to go back to the sites when I get ready to do so.

Here goes! I looked at Blinkz? and then Kids and found howcast. It gave me a lot of how to pack, how to decorate a dorm and etc. I didn't find any KG how to and then I went to streamingvideo or was it videostreaming. I searched Dinosaurs and found lots of info that can be used when we get to this unit.

YEAH! You know why? After seeing the PreK class at Panda Path using them, I had all the confidenced that I could use them too. SO I gave myself an ipod touch for Father's Day! My daughter has one but I could not play her games TOO complicated! I downloaded some apps I got from Panda Paths director and they were JUST right! My favorite are Color Me and Hangman. KG can use both.

Well I surprised myself after making just one call and I DID it! Now if I can't get it on this page, you can see it on my desktop! I CAN see my students using this with several Kinder themes.
